This Statement of Privacy applies to Success Markets, Inc. and its website, www.successmarkets.org, and governs data collection and usage.  For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, unless otherwise noted, all references to Success Markets, Inc. include www.successmarkets.org and SMI.  By using the SMI website or submitting personal information to SMI through this Site or in some other fashion, you consent to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

SMI may collect personally identifiable information directly through this Site, in corresponding with you via e-mail, web input screens and forms, by telephone, and other interactive online activities.  The types of personal information we may collect include your name, job title, company, address, business telephone number, mobile telephone number and e-mail address.  We may collect additional information from applicants to our Education Opportunity Program, including information about household income levels, academic performance, guardians, and career and education plans.

Automatic Collection of Information

Information about your computer hardware and software may be automatically collected by SMI.  This information can include: your IP address, browser type, domain names, access times and referring website addresses.  This information is used for the operation of our service, to maintain quality of our service, and to provide general statistics regarding use of the SMI website.

SMI encourages you to review the privacy statements of websites you choose to link to from SMI so that you can understand how those websites collect, use and share your information. SMI is not responsible for the privacy statements or other content on websites outside of the SMI website.

Use of your Personal Information

SMI collects and uses your personal information to operate its website(s) and deliver the services you have requested.

SMI takes reasonable measures to safeguard your personal information from unauthorized access, use or disclosure.  We require that employees and third party partners and contractors access your personal information only on a “need-to-know” basis and, in every instance, maintain the confidentiality of such information.

Please keep in mind that if you directly disclose personally identifiable information or personally sensitive data through SMI's public message boards, this information may be collected and used by others.

Children Under Thirteen

SMI does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of thirteen.  If you are under the age of thirteen, you must ask your parent or guardian for permission to use this website.
