Once information is obtained about the cost-effectiveness of programs in providing meaningful value to beneficiaries, this information can be used to direct funds and other resources to best performing programs or to initiatives that increase programmatic efficiency. SMI helps funders and suppliers use Social Return on Investment (SROI) information to optimize returns for low-income beneficiaries.

For funders, we offer to help create or to manage a portfolio of donations with the explicit goal of optimizing and tracking the social return.

For suppliers, we offer to help identify possible productivity improvements, so beneficiaries receive more (or optimal levels of) value per program dollar.
